Hey kids,
Homework for this weekend:
1) Maths Textbook REVIEW C - Complete ALL except for Qn 23 (tessellation on pg 61)
2) 2 journal entries:
Chinese New Yr
- Preparation for the new yr (buying of clothes, decorating the house, going to CHinatown etc.)
- Significance of the CNY
(- Why must you stay up on the eve of new year?
- Who gives out hongbao and why?
- Why can't you do any work (sweeping the house), during CNY?
- What is lohei/ yusheng? What is the meaning behind the session?
- Why use the colour red?
- What did you do during the reunion and first day of the New Year?)
* at least 2 pages...can come up to 10 pages even..I don't mind reading if it's good content...heheh*
If I were a Superhero...
- What powers would you have?
- What would you do with the power?
- Include 1 full page of a sketch of yourself as a superhero. Would you have props/ weapons? Any special costume? Boots? Eye mask? Label these props!
* at least 2 pages of entry...sketch should be on 1 full page pls....not a tiny drawing
3) Show and Tell is on MONDAY! Gina, Zachary, Nicholas and Scott...bring your items. Those who are scheduled for the 3RD round of Show & Tell...submit your script on Monday pls..you know who you are..the list is in class.
